Headline not fair to Gladiators

I AM NOT in agreement with the headline Gladiators Not So Super in the June 22 Daily Nation.

Having been to the show and having read Ricky Jordan’s report, I find the headline very distasteful and misleading, especially within the context of the article.

The young band, as Jordan said, was tight, as it played very well.

Congratulations are in order to the young female bandleader. The MC was very refreshing as his wit was fresh and very funny.

The calypsonians, yes, though yet young, will go far with a bit of fine-tuning, especially Iteebah.

Therefore, Jordan, for you and the Editor to allow this headiline to go out leaves a lot to be desired. Don’t you understand that this sort of headline drives patrons away and makes those performing feel less than worthy.

The Gladiators tent has something to offer and it must be agreed that there is a refreshing breeze blowing across Waterford.
