Chefette’s 14th restaurant is scheduled to open its doors at Black Rock, St Michael before the end of this month. Construction boarding has been removed, revealing the new structure with its children’s play park and a parking area for more than 40 vehicles.Managing Director of Chefette Restaurants Limited Ryan Haloute, said the restaurant, on a 35 000 square foot site is one of the company’s biggest.“The play park is three stories high and is the first of its kind in the Caribbean. The kids will love it,” he said.Construction started the first week in November 2009 on the new restaurant which will employ 50 more workers, bringing Chefette’s staff total to 750.
