Bugs coming out to play

Cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies and icky insects will swarm the National Stadium on July 24 when the Scotiabank Junior Kadooment is held. But don’t fear, a caped exterminator will also be on hand to zap them all away.These characters will be on show when the Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School band Bugging Out, which is sponsored by the National Cultural Foundation and Stokes & Bynoe, takes centre stage at Waterford.The Wilkie pupils will be one of the five primary schools, among the 13 bands vying for top honours. The other schools are St Stephen’s Primary, Deacons Primary, St Giles Primary and Garrison Secondary.
