Siblings face off in Junior Finals

TWO SETS of siblings will be facing off against each other in the Scotiabank Junior Monarch Calypso Finals on July 24 at the National Stadium.Brothers Myles Myles Z Gittens and Jazz Jazz-Z Gittens are among the finalists in the eight-to-12 category, who were announced at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre last Sunday night. They are among five boys in that division.A similar rivalry will obtain in the older category between sisters Aziza Lil Az Clarke and Rabiah Small One Clarke.
The finalists are as follows: Eight-to-12: Ranesha Confetti Cummins, Nicholas Nik Roach-Holder, Ric-Anne Candy Princess Brathwaite, Rashad De Professor Weekes, Terig Adonis Linton, Everika Lil T Clarke-Weekes, Myles Myles Z Gittens and Jazz Jazz-Z Gittens. Taryn Princess T Lynch is the reserve.13-to-18: Leah Leah Griffith, Gregerson Young G Abraham, Zahira Barbie Best, Jahlyn Jahailer Noel, Akila Latifa Small, Rabiah Small One Clarke and Aziza Lil Az Clarke. Last year’s eight-to-12 champ Johari Dazzle Taitt is the reserve. (YB)
