Tearful goodbye

Family, friends and residents of the Breedy Land community cried openly yesterday as they said their final goodbyes to Kevio Rivaldo Morris at the St Christopher Church of the Nazarene in Christ Church.
In a heart-rending ceremony to celebrate the life of the four-year-old who drowned on July 3, in a pool at the Peach And Quiet Hotel, mourners were told to embrace life and their children, because no one knew the hour when God would “call them home”.
The family adorned themselves in bright yellow dresses and yellow shirts, with Kevio’s memory pin stuck to their garments, but even the brilliant colours could do nothing to lift the spirits of those who mourned for one who was “gone too soon”.
