For two hours and 15 minutes the audience was treated to both familiar and original music that fused rock, pop, soul, R&B, dancehall and even calypso. The actors showed no signs of first-time jitters and kept the audience riveted to the small stage area with their vigorous dance routines. There wasn’t a lot of props and the wardrobe changes helped break up the monotony of seeing all the girls in the same colour.Pretty is thinking of taking the musical to New York and Barbados is the platform to work out the kinks. The show continues today at the hotel.
