Treat customers well

THERE IS an old adage which says “first impressions are lasting impressions”.

It’s a pity that the operators of some food establishments don’t take this to heart.

I simply cannot fathom why proprietors, solely dependent on income from customers, would be blatantly rude to them.

Is it asking too much to be greeted with a smile instead of a scowl?

Believe it or not, that greeting goes a long way in convincing us to buy your food!

Sometimes you enter, a price list is not visible, should you dare question the price or quantity of any food item, you are treated to an icy glare or ignored.

“Food for thought”, if we had to pay for the service in as well as the food, believe me, some of you would record a significant decline in your margin.

Get your acts together!
