GUYANESE WORKERS in Barbados with work permits are not allowed to have their spouses with them.
The spouses are permitted to come to Barbados every three months (or one year depending on the immigration authority) for a visit (conjugal) for two weeks only, while workers from developed countries are allowed to do so irrespective of the length of their contracts.
