Marching in the rain

About 700 proud members of the Barbados Cadet Corps marched through Bridgetown yesterday, unperturbed by sudden showers.Lieutenant Colonel Trevor Browne said the event was part of Cadet Week activities and featured 250 new cadets. They were accompanied by two bands, the cadet band and the Barbados Regiment band.The march began at Harrison College and continued through St Michael’s Row, Wharf Road, Jubilee Gardens, Broad Street and back to Harrison College.Minister of Youth Stephen Lashley took the salute outside Parliament Buildings.
