Soca Royale was more than a musical battle royale. People of all ages went to Bushy Park, St Philip, yesterday for hours of fun and relaxation, as they soaked in the salubrious atmosphere along with the music. These youngsters, though savouring the sweet sounds coming from the stage, had lots of space to play and “let off steam”, as the day’s two competitions (Sweet Soca and Party Monarch) turned the home of local motorsport into a panoramic party/picnic venue.
