THE TEN schoolchildren who won the SUNDAY SUN Back To School competition received their winnings last Tuesday.The names of the lucky winners were picked from hundreds of entry forms submitted in the promotion which ran from June 13 to July 11 and the children will be going back to school $500 richer.The draw was made on July 14 and the winners were published in the July 16 WEEKEND NATION.Circulation sales executive Goldburn Weekes said it was wonderful to see the level of participation and congratulated the winners, advising them to spend the money wisely. He wished them the best in school.The winners in the secondary school category were: Khadija Frederick of St James Secondary, Shalika Charles and Tarik Springer of The Lodge School, Caroline John of Parkinson Memorial and Akil Wiltshire of Christ Church Foundation.In winner’s row in the primary school category were: Tiffany Springer of St Andrew’s Primary, Tianna Taitt-Newton and Ambia Brewster of Bayley’s Primary, Tristan Worrell of Deacons Primary and Cya Layne of Charles F. Broome.
