Digicel Red Hot Cohobblopot, which was promoted as an energy-filled party, seemed at many times to be burning on a low flame. Although the band was in good touch and performers for the most part delivered well, crowd response at Kensington Oval on Sunday night seemed lacklustre at times. Maybe patrons were conserving energy for the big Kadooment Day jump today or they were tired after a long season but the general consensus was that the “heat” just was not there. Under the theme Bajan Forever and without a major headliner, the show began promptly at 8 p.m. before a small audience. The show finished thirty minutes early and scheduled acts Queen T and Peter Ram did not perform. (NB)
