THE NEW KADOOMENT ROUTE turned up brand new winners yesterday, breaking the dominance of the island’s most consistent designer Gwyneth Squires.Leading their bands from Warrens to Spring Garden, Renee Ratcliffe and Trevor Chase captured the top prizes for Best Large Band and Best Band On The Road respectively. Ratcliffe was also Festival Designer Of The Year, as her Jump Promotions band The Spirit Of The Gap won Large Band Of The Year; while Chase’s Ooutraje took Best Band On The Road with The Many Movements Of Land Ships.
