FOR THE THIRD year running, Alfred Allman has made his home available for the St Michael West Central fund-raising breakfast.Representative for the constituency, James Paul, said the proceeds for the event would go to the reading programme, which he said would start in September.“We wanted to do something like this after Crop-Over to raise funds for our reading school where we provide refreshment and educational material for around 30 children,” he said.Allman said he saw it as his duty as a Kiwani member to do what he had to do for the children of the community and he planned to continue doing so.The gathering grew larger as time wore on, but Paul said he was not worried about small numbers because some simply picked up food and left. He said they had catered for up to 75 people.
