Firm making strides in fashion

MARVILLE MANAGEMENT recently scored a success in South Africa, as the company arranged several high-level meetings between African Fashion International and Invest Barbados.  The initiative will proceed in phases and will first see African Fashion International and Invest Barbados working in conjunction to facilitate a platform that encourages the exchange of ideas, music, people, and fashion opportunities.  A team headed by Neil Weeks, senior business development officer, and Leah Marville, chief executive of Marville Management, went to South Africa two weeks ago with models Chanelle King and Sasha Brathwaite, and young designer Shanika Burnett.
The mission was to forge a landmark agreement and a memorandum of understanding between both entities that would afford South African and Barbadian models, designers and fashion-related interest groups access to both markets.  From a modelling perspective, the initial trip was immediately successful, as both King and Brathwaite were signed to Base Model Agency and were able to participate in several shows during Johannesburg Fashion Week.  Both models have been listed to take part in Cape Town Fashion Week next month.
