Impatient man mends his own leg

SUNDSVALL, Sweden – A man who sewed his own leg up because doctors kept him waiting for so long was reported to cops for misuse of hospital equipment.The Swede gashed his leg on his oven while doing a do-it-yourself job in his kitchen in Sundsvall, Sweden.He made it to casualty after first attempting to go to a health clinic.The man – named only as Jonas – said: “I first went to the health clinic, but it was closed.“So I rang the medical help line and they told me that it shouldn’t be closed, so I went to emergency and sat there.”After an hour-long wait in a treatment room, he lost patience and proceeded to sew up his own wound.He said: “They had set out a needle and thread and so I decided to take the matter into my own hands.”But hospital staff were unimpressed and reported the man to the police for using hospital equipment without authorisation.
