Prolific combo guard Toni Atherley had a game-high 26 points as Act II Popcorn Clapham Bulls thrashed Tigers 85-58 in Game 1 of their women’s basketball play-off series on Thursday at the Barbados Community College.
A one-time Tigers standout, Atherley dominated the contest from start to finish. She was well supported by Sade Clarke with 14 points, Jennifer Joseph-Hackett 12, and Shakira Shorey ten.
For Tigers, who will look to square the series tonight at the same venue, Denise Alleyne top-scored with 20, and Irecka Louis and Jacqui Browne ended with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
