KINGSTON, Jamaica – Residents of Tredegar Park staged a peaceful demonstration calling for a police post to be set up in the community. The demonstration follows last week’s murder of eight people in the area by heavily armed men who invaded the embattled community.“They must give us security,” said one woman, “if they don’t want to do it for the adults they must do it for the children.” (Jamaica Observer)
