PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad – Works Minister Jack Warner said he would bring back the hangman because “criminals must know for the crimes they commit the ultimate punishment is there and until that law is changed I will fight for it”.Warner spoke to reporters during a tour of the recently flooded Bamboo No. 2 at Valsayn, on Monday.He said he had visited relatives of murdered Carapichaima accountant Neeshad Ali on Sunday night.Ali was killed and his wife Laila and daughter Alia kidnapped by the killers. A $100 000 ransom was demanded, but mother and child were later rescued by the police at a house at Carapichaima.No ransom was paid. (Trinidad Express)
