Hundreds of Barbadians flocked to Subway Restaurant at The Lanterns Mall, Hastings, Christ Church, when it threw open its doors yesterday.The opening was not even advertised but word travelled quickly that the submarine sandwich giant, known for its healthy mouth-watering treats, had finally arrived in Barbados.Managing director Simon Elias said the restaurant was busy throughout the day and the feedback from Barbadians was fantastic on both the food and the service.
