I really need your advice.
I have been involved with a man for a few months now, but I love him a whole lot, and he makes me very happy. My problem is that my father has asked me to end the relationship.
At first I thought it was our age difference – I am 37 and he is 60, my father’s age.
My father also told me he doesn’t believe my partner when he said that he and the woman in his house are not involved and they don’t share the same bedroom.
My father said he worked around men and he listened to some of them saying how they tell women these things but they’re still together with the woman in the house.
My boyfriend had told me from Day 1 thathis ex was staying there until she finds some place.
My father said I don’t have any future with this man. Christine, please tell me what you think.

I think you should listen to your father.
Age may not matter, but this man lives with his ex and that’s a danger sign.
Your father is right: some men tell women what they think they want to hear.
You may be in love with this man, but I think you should open your eyes.
If his ex finds a place soon, then you may have a chance. Failing that, I suggest you prepare for heartache.
