Dear Christine,
Greetings to you. I really would like to hear the truth from the parents, the mothers mostly, who bear the pains for the child. I would like to know what kind of upbringing they gave their children who are in gangs or jail?
Why are they bullying, fighting, shooting, stabbing, involved in robbery, and so on? Are they going to say they were loving, caring and give compliments to these young men and women?
Or would they admit that they cursed, insulted and slapped and beat their children about the head, ears, back, etc. causing them pain and humiliation, especially if this was done in front of others and friends.
If parents and those in charge of God’s precious gems, which he give as a blessing, don’t change there will be more mourning and gnashing of teeth now and when God comes for this world.
Come on, get real and clean up your acts. Stop this cycle from going on and on and round and around.
As much as it hurts me to hear of a child taken from this earth early in life, I know that they are asleep until God awakens them.
So don’t mourn for children you did not love and treat the way God wanted you to do.
Train the children now before it is too late.
All those who believe in prayer do so for those in your homes, next door and across this country as often as possible.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with our readers. It is concern for all of us to train and direct our young people in the straight and narrow path. Maybe, we as a society need to revisit some of those rules and regulations which our parents and grandparents had in place during our upbringing. The morals and values of yesteryear seemed to have fallen by the wayside, but we must not give up. We must never surrender.
