I SMOKE and I make no apologies for it. When I smoke, I am more relaxed than ever.
And while I recognise that non-smokers have rights like I do, I think that if the Government is serious about pollution, it’s not the puff that it should be worrying about.
The ban should be imposed instead on all those derelict vehicles that belch out so much black smoke on the roads of Barbados day after day.
The Licensing Authority should be permitted to ban all vehicles over a certain age from our roads.
Then I’d say we are serious. But don’t interfere with my little puff.
