We need action, not talk, from politicians

WHENEVER I hear a politician talk “I does gah laugh” in sentiments with Mr Dale’s song.

For 14 years the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) was in Government, during which time we saw a number of changes; some good and many in my opinion not so good.

The Democratic Labour Party (DLP) has been in Government For the past two years and seven months, and I am wondering, why is it that we are witnessing a war of words from the Opposition?

It gives the impression that they are trying to score points, which in reality ain’t “wukking”!

Somebody needs to tell the politicians that they are not dealing with a bunch of fools or idiots, and some of us do have long memories.

We need them to serve the interest of the people within the community and stop with all de long talk.

There are many national concerns like lack of jobs, locals being unable to buy land, being made to feel like third-class citizens, the environment and the list goes on!

So I am asking the politicians to wake up! We need action, not “de lotta talk”!
