Cooing all the way to the bank

I SAW AN ARTICLE that said Paradise Beach Ltd (Four Seasons) was looking for a chief operating officer (COO) as opposed to a CEO.

A CEO is usually asked for about ten years’ work experience – five years management; but the COO request is 15 years’ work experience – five years’ management.

The position, functions and responsibilities are about the same. But the post name change, as I understand it, means that the person will be raking in a lot more money.

It also means that he or she will be “COOing” all the way to the bank. It’s all in a name.
