BWA lagging on new connection

I AM requesting your assistance in getting a water meter attached to a pipe line. In December 2009, my sister, who owns the property, came to Barbados and completed the required form at the Barbados Water Authority’s (BWA) office at Probyn Street.

In early January 2010, an employee from Golden Ridge came and inspected the pipeline at Warrens Terrace.

He then instructed me as to what piping connections had to be made before the water could be attached and I had the work done as soon as possible.

I went to his work place and informed him that everything was ready for the connection.

I went to the office at Probyn Street and made some further enquiries as to the position of this connection, as quite a while had passed.

The form which my sister had completed could not be found.

On two more occasions, I went to Golden Ridge and left messages for this particular employee to let him know that everything was ready for the connection.

I went there in person because I did not believe in doing business here in my country via the telephone. I am hoping that some action will be taken by the BWA in this matter.
