Counting her way to the top

AS QUIET as the proverbial church mouse, 21-year-old Lydia Graham often looks as if she’d prefer to melt into the walls rather than be seen.
But despite her meek appearance, Lydia is quick to assure her audience that she has a temper and that you probably shouldn’t “mash her corns”.
An aspiring accountant, Lydia is currently the assistant to a CARICOM Consultant working on the energy prices for the 13 member states, while she studies for her accounting designation with Certified General Accountants.
Although you’d probably see her out a lot, don’t assume that she is a party girl. “I am usually only out if it pertains to modelling,” she asserts.
This leggy young lady fell into modelling when she was spotted by an Ebony magazine modelling scout at the Barbados Community College. “Modelling is a fun thing, but I need to have a serious career, so I am doing accounting, not because I have to but because I also really love maths.”
