Holed up

Of course, one can hold a sale, retailing everything at the lowest possible price.
And all that one sells may be genuine – as a whole. Of each item there might be a whole sale.
If you are having difficulty holding onto the gist of all this, you are in no less a pickle than we were when at My Lords Hillin St Michael we came up against proprietor Terry Moore’s sign of a sale – a HOLD SALE.
Maybe, when one purchases any of Moore’s items, one must make sure to hold on to it. But, from the look of things, one could easily tire.
