Barbadians have to continue to brace themselves for more rain.
And those living in low-lying areas have to be on their guard.
That’s because Barbados will be under a flood warning until tomorrow at 6.
Reports from the Met Office are that the heavy rains will continue to affect flood prone areas most of the week.
“The cause is a low pressure trough that developed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and moved across the island from late Monday, mostly affecting the southern parishes of Christ Church and St. Philip” according to the Met report.
The original flood warning was to end at 4 pm today.
Senior meteorologist Clairmont Williams says however it had to be extended to 6 a.m. tomorrow because of the heavy amount of rainfall.
