Help small business people

Date:

Share post:

RECENTLY I saw an article in the newspaper where a taxi driver was expressing his problems with a co-operative. My father, a former taxi driver, had this problem.

He paid a co-op for 13 years to work under their umbrella and one day he went to work his car but was told by the president of the co-op that he no longer had parking permission as a he was not a member.

When I went with him to get an explanation, we were told that he was only a sub.

My dad never was the same as before.

Co-operatives need to be well organised especially in these harsh economic times.

Whoever is in charge, please help these small businesses before the big companies take over their work.
