Past and present students of Springer Memorial paid tribute to one of its pioneers yesterday as the school celebrates its 45th anniversary.
During a morning service at St Mary’s Church in The City to kick off a week of activities, tribute was paid to Pamela Tudor – the first principal – and other members of the Government Hill, St Michael school’s teaching staff.
After the service, a wreath was laid at the graveside of Tudor in the churchyard.
