6:40 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 29, 2010 – The 2010 Crop-Over Festival’s two top performers, Mighty Gabby and Anderson “Blood” Armstrong, picked up their prize cars earlier today at McEnearney Quality Incorporated (MQI).
Blood, the Soca Royale champion picked up the keys to the two-door Kia sports model valued at $90 000 while Calypso Monarch Mighty Gabby stepped into his silver-grey Ford Focus valued at $70 000.
MQI, LIME, the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, 98.1 and Banks Barbados) Breweries were the sponsors joining National Cultural Foundation (NCF) officials at the hand-over ceremony. (TY)
