BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, CMC – Four young men perished Friday night when the car in which they were travelling slammed into a tree in the Sandy Point area.
Those killed have been identified as Maurice Rawlins, 23; Dexter James, 32; Damien Harris, 23; and Lacento Bradshaw, 23.
Police said that at approximately 10:50pm, the motor vehicle owned and driven by Rawlins with the other three men on board was traveling from Basseterre to Sandy Point. Rawlins apparently lost control of the vehicle which collided with the tree.
All four occupants of the car suffered serious injuries and died on the scene.
Police said Rawlins was found trapped inside the vehicle while the other three passengers were thrown from the car as a result of the impact. (CMC)
