Touchdown

The Barbados Government and the Caribbean Tourism Organisation rolled out the red carpet for the chief executive officer of British Airways, Willie Walsh, yesterday with bright weather helping in painting a picture perfect setting for the arrival of BA 2155 just after 2 p.m.
He was met by Nigel Blackett, district manager of Barbados, Antigua, Grenada and St Kitts; Hugh Riley; Andrew Cox, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism; David Rice, president and CEO of the BTA; and Corthwright Marshall, tourism director of Antigua and Barbuda and outgoing chairman of CTO board of directors.
