CASTRIES – An eight-year-old child was shot and killed after masked gunmen entered her home and fired several shots at her sleeping parents, police confirmed today.
They said that Marissa Jn.Marie was hit several times about the body as she slept in the house in La Clery, and that her mother, Patricia St. Romain, 38, has been hospitalised in a critical condition after receiving “several gunshots”.
The eight-year-old is the sister of Kershel Jn.Marie who was shot and injured after gunmen opened fire on a group of people attending a barbeque at Morne Du Don, killing 52-year-old Justus Cenott. (CMC)
