Supporters of former Prime Minister Owen Arthur turned up this afternoon to show their favour for the man they feel should be the leader of the Barbados Labour Party. “Owen all the way” and “Barbados needs Owen Arthur now more than ever,” were some of the messages on their shirts. A small crowd started gathering just before 1p.m. at the party headquarters at Roebuck Street, St Michael. Some were chanting their support for Arthur, while others were there voicing support for Mia Mottley who could be ousted today as leader. A meeting is set for 2 p.m. today at the BLP headquarters where the leadership of the party will be decided.
