Cop on rape charge

A 27-year-old police constable appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today on a rape charge.
PC Jason Andre Callender of 6th Avenue, Durant’s Village, St. James is accused of committing the offence sometime between June and October  this year.
Callender has been placed on $2 500 bail with a surety and will reappear at the Holetwon Magitsrates’ on October 26.(TS)
