Spain make debut at Slams tourney

Eleven first-time participants from Spain will be taking part in the Barbados Bridge League’s 21st annual Sun, Sea And Slams Tournament from 9:30 a.m. today at the Divi Southwinds Beach Resort, St Lawrence, Christ Church.
Kip Rotchell, one of the league members who now resides in Spain, will be bringing a group of 11 players who will come up against new and featuring players from England, Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada. 
These players include Liz McClean, Brenda Williams and Winthrop Wiltshire from Grenada, as well as Trinidadians Jeanette Alleyne, David Clarke, Debbie Fletcher, Trevor Hart, Joe Howard, Nicky Inniss, Denise Josa and Lisa de Meillac.
Hailing from England are Liz Blande, Mike Rafferty, Sue and Graham Dickens and Mr and Mrs Robert Perrin. (PR/SAT)
