Ad hoc helping?

Date:

THE RECENT PROVIDING of a home to a senior citizen is good news and encouraging, but we must wonder… has the woman not been appealing for assistance during the last 20 years or so, and if yes, why no action then?

How will she adjust to being uprooted and relocated elsewhere so quickly?

And are there not others in the same, or worse, conditions waiting just as long or longer? Is assistance just a matter of ad hoc luck when politicians get around to it?
