Jamaican reggae legend Gregory Anthony Isaacs died yesterday, two days after the passing of Prime Minister David Thompson, who was a music lover and enjoyed several shows featuring artistes from the region and beyond.
When Isaacs visited here in April 2009 to perform at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, the Prime Minister and his wife Mara were among the hundreds who enjoyed the cool stylings of the impressive line-up of artistes in the Barbados Reggae Festival.
