Prime Minister Freundel Stuart reported for work yesterday morning with a packed schedule ahead of him.
Asked his plans for the “first day on the job”, he said: “It is really a continuation of the last day. I was here on Friday and I have just come in, aware now that the buck really stops at me.”
He added: “I will continue from where I left off on Friday; I have some meetings. I have to meet with the Bishop (Anglican Bishop and Archbishop Dr John Holder); with a speech-writer who is going to be working with me, and I hope to leave earlier than I normally would in the afternoon because I have the funeral of a very close friend.” (GC)
