Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Chris Sinckler yesterday held pre-Budget discussions with members of the Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB) at his Government Headquarters, Bay Street office yesterday.
The large delegation representing Barbados’ leading trade unions was led by new CTUSAB head Cedric Murrell.
Sinckler said the meeting with the trade unions was part of “the process started a few weeks ago”, whereby he was seeking input from various sectors in preparation for his upcoming budgetary proposals.
“I am meeting with CTUSAB to get some idea on what they might like to see in the upcoming Budget,” Sinckler told the DAILY NATION. (GC)
