Several constituency offices associated with the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) have been draped in black as a mark of respect and observance during the period of mourning leading up to the funeral of the Late Prime Minister David Thompson.
At the St Michael West Constituency office on the corner of President Kennedy Drive and Westbury Road, Constituency Assistant Julie Austin was busy preparing a tribute to the late Prime Minister and workers were putting the finishing touches on the draping of the outside of the building.
Austin said she expected the work to be completed later that evening. That office is located along the route that the funeral procession will take from Downes and Wilson Funeral home to Kensington Oval where the funeral service will take place.
