Senators sworn in

The Barbados Labour Party’s two new senators Kerrie Symmonds and Santia Bradshaw were sworn in this afternoon at Government House..
The two new senators were sworn in by Governor General Sir Clifford Husbands at 2 p.m.
Leader of the Opposition Owen Arthur announced the names of the two new senators in a Press conference on Monday. They replace Elizabeth Thompson and Arthur Holder.
Arthur also announced that economist Clyde Mascoll, will be the party’s spokesman on economic matters.
