BARBADOS have a bronze medal by way of Shawn Simpson and Lilianna White.
The country’s mixed doubles squash pair got a podium finish at the ongoing 20th Pan American Squash Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
All of Barbados’ three doubles reached their respective quarter-final rounds, but only Simpson and White managed to go one step further.
But the pair eventually fell in their quest to progress to the final, losing to eventual winners Argentina in straight games.
This after White was the lone player of an eight-member contingent to advance out of the first round in the ingles competitions. (PR)
