Roundabout aglow

The Dame Nita Roundabout is aglow for Barbados’ 44th Independence birthday.
It was the first roundabout to be decorated and lit up this year for the annual Independence celebrations which then move into the Christmas festivities.
Like the pioneer after whom the roundabout is named, the lights are a beacon to signify the hope and blessings on a nation which has recently been through mourning for a beloved deceased Prime Minister and then the ravages of a tropical storm.
Lets hope that all of the other roundabouts soon radiate with light, and make Barbados shine. (SP)
