Vincentians will go the polls on Monday December 13.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made the much anticipated announcement at a mass Unity Labour Party rally at Calliaqua shortly after 10:30 p.m.
He said parliament is to be dissolved tomorrow to make way for Nomination Day on November 26.
The poll pits the ULP against the opposition NDP led by Arnhim Eustace.
