Pensioners will get at least $6 more following today’s Budget.
Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler said that from January 3, the National Insurance Contributory and non-contributory pensions will be increased.
The minimum contributory pension will be increased to $163 a week from $155 and the non-contributory pension will be increased to $133 per week from $127.
