Barbadian superstar Rihanna has copped the American Music Award for the 2010 Soul R & B female.
Rihanna, who opened the show tonight, with her number one hits What’s My Name and Only Girl, which tops charts across the world, was ecstatic when she was named the the winner. Rihanna went up against Alicia Keys and Sade in that category.
Rihanna, in a flowing dress, thanked her fans for their support.
