Worrell nails it

It was a slam dunk for Hoskins Worrell at the season ending Darcy Beckles Invitational Classic, the multiple Caribbean divisional champion making it three for three at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Saturday night.
There was never any real doubt that he would come out on top of the eight-man field and collect the first prize cheque of $4 000.
Worrell co-starred with Vickie Borman, who brought poise, style and muscle in conquering the figure contest. Watched by her sister, rising singer, Ria Borman, Vickie, a Caribbean queen, was a popular choice among the five shapely females.
Borman, walked away with $2 000, a clear cut winner ahead of Miss Bridgetown winner, Karen Jones, with the promising Lynette Thompson, completing the top three.
The night though belonged to Worrell, the Mr. Barbados 2008, who was the class of the field with his trademark  strengths in evidence: thick, striated pecs, razor sharp abdominals, flaring quads and near tip-top condition.
